Winners of the “Creative History Balkans Tour” Photo Contests Chosen

There was a great response to the photo contest organized within the scope of the “Creative History Balkans Tour“ project, which confirms the significance of the cultural-historic fortifications in the region, promoted by the Exit Foundation and supported by the European Union and the Regional Cooperation Council.

Almost a hundred fantastic photos were submitted to the competition organized within the scope of the “Creative Balkans History Tour” and they all captured the following four fortresses: Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad (Serbia), Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the Old Town of Budva (Montenegro) and Rozafa Fortress in Shkodër (Albania).

Now, the winners have been chosen!

1st Place 🥇

The first prize and EUR 1,000 (gross) went to Ranko Maraš, who presented the Old Town in Budva in the best possible way.

2nd Place 🥈

The second prize and EUR 500 (gross) was awarded to Aleksandar Milutinović, who used his camera to capture the beauty of Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.

3rd Place 🥉

Terenc Pepa won the third prize and EUR 300 (gross) for capturing Rozafa Fortress in Shkodër.

4th Place

The fourth place and two tickets to the EXIT or Sea Dance Festival went to Pavle Miovičić, who found inspiration in Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka.

The winning photos, as well as those that were shortlisted, are published online and at Exit’s social media networks, as a contribution to the promotion of these four tourist pearls of the region.
